As they say, if only these walls could talk! La Domaine Esemar has spanned over 29 years of teaching, sharing and experiencing the vibrant world of BDSM. We will be bringing you highlights of our years in this column from first hand accounts of sessions and parties, meals and events, to the history of the chateau and Master R himself.
Stay tuned. We are working on bringing you images from our 29+ year history and will be adding captions as well – so that you can see and read about our extended La D family.
The Great Fetish photographer and NYC Kink Scene Documentarian Efrain Gonzalez. On his second La D visit, circa 1996.
The strawberry testicle: being pierced by the heel of Dante Posh. Circa 1998?
slave annie was one of our very first clients. This picture is from the winter of 1995. We loved annie – she was our crossdressing rodeo cowboy! She was with us until 2018!
Mistress Collette and slave it. This is from our third schwanandreher. The slave is being slowly roasted over very hot coals. He was from Texas and it was the Fourth of July! As of this writing, we have now done seven human roasts.
This is Master R’s favorite photograph of Head Mistress Raven. The photo is titled “Whip? What whip?”
This is the world renown Cuban Dominatrix, Natasha Rose, in our first dungeon, which dates this between 1993 and 1994! Natasha was in her fifties at the time, and about to give birth to triplets!
For many years, we were honored to be joined occasionally by Mistress Yin, another of the world’s greats. Yin’s brilliantmind was one of the shaping forces in La Domaine’s early years. This photo is somewhere at the end of the 1990’s decade. The device is the schwanandreher spit; what we use for our human roasts! No idea who the lucky slave is.
The wonderful NYC Mistress, Mistress Phoenix, back when she was doing her Mistress in Training time here twenty years ago.
This is the still active and always brilliant NYC Domina, Mistress Crimson back around 2000. Mistress Crimson is among the handful of people who had the greatest influence on how La Domaine – and Master R – developed. So much love!
A photo of stone ponee being feed a treat by the extraordinary Mistress Lalique. Mistress Lalique trained one of the world’s most famous ponies: trigger.
Back in the early nineties again. This is Master R’s pride and joy, slave fix. fix was a terrific slave and a terrific pony. Her equine name was stonee ponee. It seemed she could always get herself into some sort of a fix.
Edge’s fingers. Edge, so called because she could be on the edge of orgasm, while being seriously whipped, while Dominating a slave all at the same time. So many edges, n’est pas? After nearly 25 years at La Domaine, we consider Edge to be our Wise Woman.
Mistress Collette and Master R doing the American Gothic thing in winter. BRRRRRRR! 2012
Our co-founder, The Madame, had an amazing proclivity for creative cruelty. Her slogan was “Practice random acts of violence and spontaneous acts of brutality.” One never knew when she would strike. Here she is in 1995 with slave shine. shine at that time was the slave of The Baroness. This was their third visit.
Mistress Lalique and trigger, in the back forty, behind the second La Domaine location.
A photo of our beloved slave alacrity. He was numero uno slave here for most of the 1990’s. He started out at a snail’s pace – it took him an hour to do 15minutes worth of dishes – and he was incredibly clumsy. His full name was slave alacrity and grace.
For many years, circa 2000 – 2010, we were honored by visits from Joe Wheeler, the finest whip maker in the world at that time. Here is Joe presenting a workshop on making signal whips in 2005. The finest whips in the La Domaine dungeon – and we have so many exquisite whips by so many makers – are the Joe Wheeler whips. A piece of history: Joe was taught by the earlier great – David Morgan. Lineage is so telling.
Our favorite sadist, The Baroness, at Macedonia Falls. Her whipping boy was the remarkable slave shine. This is 1995!
